Speaking on behalf of Sue Ryder Care, Ben Simms: “We cannot thank our participants enough! Hard and furious football played with passion, followed by a superb after-party at IndigO2 made this a night to remember – and all for a fantastic cause!”
The event was hosted by Martin Peters MBE, who coached on the night, and involved premiership legends Tony Cottee, John Beresford, Rob Lee, Ray Parlour, Peter Bonetti and Paul Walsh. All money raised goes to support the work of our sister organisations in southern Africa and eastern Europe.
Football legend, Martin Peters MBE, said, “I was delighted to support the Sue Ryder International Cup - it was a great evening with all the excitement and drama of a premiership final. As well as having the opportunity to play against legends of the great game, football fans helped raise vital funds for a very worthwhile cause.”
Bart Dujczynski, Polish City Club team captain, commented: “Unbelievable - we did it again! A massive thanks to the London Eagles who came to support us. We will be back next year!”
