Battle of the Brainy Boozers is Back!

The Battle of the Brainy Boozers is set to be the largest pub quiz Peterborough will see in 2008 with last years winners defending their titles. 

The idea is that pubs in and around Peterborough hold a quiz in their own pubs to raise money for Sue Ryder Care. 

 Emma Long fundraiser from Sue Ryder Care Thorpe Hall Hospice said,“There are more than 150 pubs in and around the Peterborough area. If each pub raised £100 by holding their own quiz and then entered the final we could raise a lot of money for a very good cause and have a whole lot of fun in the process” Emma , “We have quizzes and posters available so all the pubs have to do on the night of their quiz is read the quiz out and provide a prize for their winning team, alternatively pubs can organize their Battle of the Brainy Boozers quiz themselves.  All the money raised will go towards helping local people with neurological and life limiting illnesses such as cancer and Multiple Sclerosis so why not get involved.  Their will be a raffle on the final night and awards for the winning team and the pub that raises the most money”
