Car dealers Sycamores have given Sue Ryder Care – Thorpe Hall Hospice an early Christmas present-by extending the loan of a mini until the New Year.
Sue Ryder Care-Thorpe Hall Hospice have the car on loan from Sycamores to use as a promotional tool for events and to save the charity money on travelling costs. Some of the exiting activities the mini has been used for include being filled with teddies at the Sue Ryder Care Summer Fun Day and having the boot filled with chocolates at a street collection in the city centre. The original loan was due to run out at the end of October, but Sycamores are now lending it to the charity until the end of the year 2010.
Emma Long, Fundraiser at Sue Ryder Care-Thorpe Hall Hospice said: “We are extremely grateful to Sycamores for letting us use the car as it is a great tool for promoting the charity when we are at meetings and out and about. It is great that we now have the mini until the end of the year, it is like Christmas come early!”
