Over 700 people turned out to run to the sounds of the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra (RPCO), completing the 5km course and raising £80,000 with every step for Sue Ryder Care.
Despite the rain, spirits were high and the atmosphere was charged with excitement. And, we’ve had great feedback from runners who took part in last year’s inaugural event - the combination of the magnificent sound of the RPCO and the splendor of one of London’s finest parks proving a winning combination.
This year we want to encourage even more people to take part and raise vital funds for the charity. By supporting Sue Ryder Care in this way, people can help us make a real difference to the lives of the thousands of people we care for each year.
"We thoroughly enjoyed our experience - it would have taken more than a little bit of rain to dampen our spirits! The fitness Guru that led the warm up was fantastic and really got us prepared for the run. What a fun was to raise money for Sue Ryder Care!"
