This year, Sue Ryder Care will be continuing to promote the innovative work carried out by the charity, carrying on from our annual parliamentary reception in June – please click here for more information.
Lord Darzi’s recent review of the NHS placed innovation at the heart of providing care and support services in the future, with Third Sector providers like Sue Ryder Care increasingly recognised as ‘partners of choice’ by government, local commissioners and patients. This issue has become more of a priority for the government and with several of Sue Ryder Care’s services receiving national recognition for their innovative solutions to providing care, we have much to discuss with conference attendees.
Sue Ryder Care will have stands at the Labour Party Conference in Manchester and the Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham, where we will be discussing the innovative work of the charity and how it helps to liberate lives.
We will be at stand 88 in the Manchester Central Venue for the Labour Party conference and at stand 84 in Hall 3 of the ICC for the Conservative Party conference.
Sue Ryder Care, in partnership with the Long-Term Conditions Alliance, will host fringe events at the Labour Party conference and the Conservative Party conference entitled ‘Liberating Lives, Delivering Innovative Care through the Third Sector’
These events will explore solutions to providing cutting edge neurological and palliative care, and the barriers that stifle the development of innovative services.
