There is a very high probability that your customers and staff will have had some experience of at least one of the conditions we care for:
In the UK, approximately 11 million people are affected by complex conditions such as MS, stroke, brain injury, Motor Neurone Disease , cerebral palsy, Huntington's Disease and Parkinson's Disease. 1 in 3 people will be affected by cancer at some stage in their lives.
Internationally, we work in 12 European countries and southern Africa. Our greatest challenge is supporting our partners in Albania, Kosova and Malawi who work in some of the most difficult circumstances of poverty, conflict and political turmoil. The devastating impact of conditions like Cancer, Asthma, Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy is exacerbated by the lack of state funding, medical expertise and resources.
Our strong regional foot print of care services, fundraising teams, and 370 retail shops will ensure your customers and staff will have experienced direct contact with Sue Ryder Care across the UK;
We deliver 4 million hours of care each year in around 60% of Strategic Health Authorities. This makes us the largest provider of specialist hospice and neurological care in the UK. With your support we want to increase the hours of care we can provide to over 10 million by 2018.
Sue Ryder Care believes in developing partnerships which are mutually beneficial. Our innovative engagement programmes range from team building exercises through to challenging projects which are ideal for developing leadership, communication and strategic planning skills.
Through engagement programmes we can help more people become aware of the conditions we care for and the services and support available within their own community. Through direct engagement your staff will experience increased motivation, satisfaction and connection to their community. To find out more click here.
