Care at the End of Life

We work collaboratively with the Sue Ryder Care Centre for Palliative and End of Life Studies at the University of Nottingham.

The Sue Ryder Care Centre for Palliative and End of Life Studies is a leading provider of palliative and end of life care research and education. Through its research the centre seeks to make a valuable contribution to policy and practice in previously under researched areas of palliative and end of life care. PINCHistorically, end of life care has mainly focused on people dying from cancer. However, it is estimated that each year 300,000 people with neurological conditions do not receive the care they need. Sue Ryder Care's PINC project adapts established end of life care tools for people living with neurological conditions, in order to develop better care and support. The work has been supported by research expertise from the Sue Ryder Care Centre for Palliative and End of Life Care at the University of Nottingham. Read more about PINC.
