The 2009 Art Liberating Lives Exhibition at London’s Mall Galleries will be open from the 16-20 December 2009.

(See below for opening times and directions)

Private View

The exclusive Private View will take place on Tuesday 15 December 2009 at 6.30pm.

Art Liberating Lives is an uplifting and exciting mix of over 200 "liberating" artworks produced by people receiving our care and supporting artists from across the UK. Each work has been carefully selected by a panel of leaders in the art world, resulting in a unique, thought-provoking collection I'm sure you will enjoy.

You will also have a chance to purchase any of these one-of-a-kind pieces before the exhibit opens to the public, with proceeds directly benefiting Sue Ryder Care, thereby helping provide specialist care for people living with conditions including cancer, stroke, multiple sclerosis, dementia and Parkinson's disease.

Highlights of the exhibition include works for auction by well established artists including Maggi Hambling, Ken Howard RA, Jason Bowyer PNEAC and Diana Calvert NEAC as well as fantastic group pieces produced within our hospices and neurological care centres.  By attending the Private View, you will not only have the opportunity to view and purchase these works before anyone else; you will also enjoy a chance to meet some of the artists personally while enjoying drinks and canapés to the sounds of a string quartet...

Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased for £20 by calling 0845 050 1953. Alternatively, register your details here and we will call you back.
