Friday 3 September 2010

• grow a tash or beard for the month
• wear a wig for the day
• be sponsored to dye your hair
• sponsor someone to wax their legs/chest/back
• have a Jedward competition and see who can get their hair the highest
• have a crazy hair day
These are just some ideas we have come up with but the more imaginative the better. Why not involve your colleagues and have a day where you all wear a crazy wig and pay £1 each, or if you’re still at school, sponsor your teacher to wax their legs.
We want to know what crazy hair activities you're doing during Febru-hairy so send us your photos and you could make it onto our website.
Set up your fundraising page at www.virginmoneygiving.com and raise sponsorship online.
All money raised will go directly to help Sue Ryder Care continue to provide end of life and long-term care to people living with conditions including; cancer, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, dementia and stroke.
Sue Ryder Care’s Febru-hairy month in February 2010 follows on from the charity’s successful ‘Tache for Cash’ event in November 2008, which challenged people to grow weird and wonderful moustaches and raised over £11,000.
Come on girls! Are you ready for the challenge? Join the Sue Ryder Care, women only, Midnight Walks, taking place across England and Scotland between April and September 2010.
