Furniture and Electrical Goods

Some of our shops now accept furniture and electrical goods.

Often we are able to collect free of charge from your home.
We can also deliver sold items to you for a minimal charge within a local radius.

Please contact any one of our shops direct to offer the donation and make any necessary arrangements.  Our friendly staff will ask you some simple questions about the item as we must ensure that the item is saleable e.g.

If it is a soft furnishing, does it have the fire retardant labels attached?  Without them, we are unable to sell it as it is a legal requirement.
If you are unsure whether we would like an item, please contact our staff at your local Sue Ryder Care shop.

Please donate to us:

Settees
Wardrobes
Tables and chairs
Cabinets
Beds
Small working electrical goods e.g. table lamps, DVD players, musical appliances

Donations that are broken, dirty, or do not comply with trading standards and are unusable have to be thrown away and this costs the charity money.
