Long Term Nursing Care

For many people neurological conditions take them along a journey of care requirements - depending how complex their symptoms are. 

For those people with complex conditions requiring 24 hour nursing care we provide long term placements in our neurological Care Centres. 

 Our Care Centres 

At our centres we understand that the decision to move into a care centre can be a difficult one for both the individual and their family. We do everything possible to support all concerned during a person's stay with us. 

We offer a home from home where we can support the whole of a person's needs while they still maintain close family contact and as much independence as possible.

We aim to provide each person in our care centres with their own bedroom space and a number of welcoming communal rooms.

People living in our centres are encouraged to participate in all matters which affect their life and remain as independent as possible.

Visiting 

All of our care centres have open visiting policies and friends and family of all ages are welcome - as are well-behaved pets! 

Facilities 

Each care centre has an activity department offering facilities such as:

• Physiotherapy Support
• Complementary Therapy
• Multisensory Therapy
• Hydrotherapy
• Engagement with the local community - all services have their own transport facilities to support this
• IT

Our centres are unique in offering a comprehensive range of specialist computer equipment aimed at enabling people to communicate with their family and friends using information technology. 

Working in Partnership

We work in partnership with local NHS services to give people in our care access to GPs, specialist consultants, genetic counsellors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dieticians and chiropodists.
