Since 1990, Sue Ryder Care has supported the Sue Ryder Foundation in Malawi.
Here we provide community-based healthcare to people with chronic conditions, especially those with epilepsy and asthma, and disabled people, often with cerebral palsy.
Many are out of reach of government health systems and the help offered by other international or national organisations.
Over 6,500 people a year benefit from the care provided by the Sue Ryder Foundation in Malawi including 3,000 children. In 2008 Sue Ryder Care must fundraise £110,000 in support of this programme.
