Midnight Success in LythamMidnight Walks starting line

The Sue Ryder Care, Midnight Walk was a huge success and really set the Sue Ryder Care / BAE Systems partnership off to a great start.

Out of the 427 walkers, over 100 were from BAE SYSTEMS, so we estimate that they will have raised in the region of £9K.  Overall on the night we were pledged £34K from all the 427 women who took part.

The Warton CS&S volunteers clocked up over 23 hours worth of volunteering overnight!  The Warton MAS volunteers who helped man the communication centre, registration and marshals on route clocked up at least 20 hours so overall we received 43 hours worth of volunteering by BAE Systems employee's.

Thank you to all those of you who supported the event.
