We care for people with end of life and long term conditions: Cancer, Stroke, Brain Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia, Huntington's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, and Motor Neurone Disease

We are committed to ensuring that every volunteer has a rewarding experience with Sue Ryder Care.

Volunteers join us for many reasons and we aim to make volunteering as flexible as possible. We will match your skills and interests with our volunteer vacancies.

Here are just a few ways people support our work

  • Supporting fundraising events
  • Working in one of our 350 shops
  • Maintenance and gardening in our care centres
  • Public speaking
  • Providing complementary therapies

Increasingly people are choosing to volunteer to establish a career in the not for profit sector, more and more companies are seeing the benefits of employee supported volunteering and school aged volunteers are starting their ethical footprint in life.

We provide training and support for all roles.
