Who we are what we do

We have highly trained doctors, nurses, carers, social workers, therapists and volunteers are dedicated to helping people live life to the full.

Our approach considers every aspect of an individual’s wellbeing by listening to and supporting their choices.

We care for people living with conditions including Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Huntington’s Disease, Stroke, Brain Injury, Dementia

We help put back the dignity, independence and confidence that these challenging conditions take away. We provide care in our own care centres, in people’s own homes and in the community.

Where are we?

We have care services in over 60% of Strategic Health Authorities. We currently deliver over 4 million hours of care each year. We want to increase that to 10 million in the next 3 years.

Why is the partnership so important?

Each year Sue Ryder care has to raise more than £60 million to continue providing vital care and support services for people living with palliative and neurological conditions. In order to meet this goal it is imperative that we raise funds from a whole variety of sources.

Importantly, many of BAE Systems’ sites correspond with those where Sue Ryder Care operates – providing great opportunities to create lasting partnerships in communities across the country.
