Are you up for a run whilst taking in the amazing scenery around Loch Ness? Then why not undertake your challenge in the knowledge that your effort will be making a real difference to people's lives. On Sunday 5 October the Loch Ness marathon, 10k and 5k runs will all be taking place and we want you to run for Sue Ryder Care.
If you have already booked a place for your run through the spectacular stunning Highland scenery, along the south-eastern shores of Loch Ness, finishing in Inverness Queens Park Stadium, then choose to run for Sue Ryder Care. Every step you take will help us to care for more people living with conditions such as Huntington's Disease, Acquired Brain Injury, Multiple Sclerosis and cancer.
If you would like more information about running for Sue Ryder Care please call Michael Hodgson, Area Fundraising Manager (North of Scotland) on 07795 451320 to have a chat.
Michael said: "There are currently 29 million people who are affected by the life changing conditions that we care for, and our aim is to increase our hours of care from 4million to 10million over the next three years. The money raised from the Loch Ness Marathon will help us towards this goal and will enable us to put back the dignity, independence and confidence that are taken away by the conditions we care for."
Sue Ryder Care's partnership with justgiving enables runners to create their own online fundraising page, making it easy for family and friends to sponsor them and keep up with their personal challenge and fundraising drive.
For more information about taking part please call Michael Hodgson on 07795 451320.
