Spring into Sue's

12 March 2008

The Sue Ryder Care shops in Aberdeen will be holding a fun day from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 15 March - "Spring into Sue's".  Teams of four students from the University of Aberdeen student group Dirty Weekenders will be going into each of the shops for the day, and will be competing against each other to see which shop can raise the most money.

You will find our shops at Rosemount Viaduct, George Street and Holburn Street - pop in to see us and if you can, bring along a bag of clothes or bric a brac that you no longer need, it would be a huge help - we're always looking for donations which can be turned into hours of care so that Sue Ryder Care can support more people living with conditions such as Huntington's Disease, multiple sclerosis, brain injury and cancer.

Come along and join in the fun - we'll have face painting, egg hunts, hunt the sheep and a tombola, so there will be fun for everyone.

Liz Duncan, Business Manager for Sue Ryder Care in the North East said: "By coming along with your donations and having fun, you will be helping Sue Ryder Care make a real difference to peoples lives.  The money raised in the shops will help us to put back the dignity, independence and confidence that are taken away by the conditions we care for."
