20 beds

Sue Ryder Care - Thorpe Hall Hospice was opened in May 1991, to provide care for people over the age of 18, with active, progressive and advanced illness, where the focus of care is on quality of life.

We offer specialist nursing and medical care alongside comprehensive support to family and carers. Our aim is to provide a relaxed, friendly and happy atmosphere in which you can feel at home.

The in-patient unit consists of 20 beds, located within 2 wards, both of which can be accessed by a lift. We offer short term care for symptom management, respite, both for palliative and progressive neurological conditions and end-of-life-care.

High nursing levels ensure an individual approach to your needs. You will be cared for by a team of nurses and doctors 24 hours a day.

Sue Ryder Care - Thorpe Hall Hospice will temporarily move to Stamford Hospital in January. To read more about the move click here.
